Daiwa has become a name that’s synonymous with high quality carp gear, especially when it comes to their carp reels. The latest generation of their Emblem 45 SCW QD reels is no exception.
The 45mm spool and Slow Cross Wrap technology creates optimal line lay on the spool. This combines with the double edge to the spool, which reduces friction during the cast to help you reach longer distances.
In terms of drag, the Emblem 45 SCW use Daiwa’s top-of-the-line QDM system. This means you can go from free spool to locked up in 1 turn of the dial. This puts you in full control of the fish quicker, which can result in more carp on the bank.
Unlike many carp reels today, the Emblems are supplied with two spools. One is a shallower spool that takes 300m of 0.35mm mono, and the other is for longer distances, with a capacity of 530m of 0.35mm.

If all tickets do not sell out, the draw will happen on August 20, 2023 regardless.
